| I started with photos such as the above, and created a wooden one. The dump body is maple, the front dump rest block and cab are catalypa scraps, the wheels are willow, the frame is mostly scrap 2x4's, and the axles are 1" dowel rod. No fancy jointing, although I did use a jointer to get the angle change on the dump bed. Only a very few nails were used - mostly to support the front lip of the dump bed. |
