These are scans of slides. I used a Nikon Coolscan V ED
scanner with the autofeeder to convert my 700+ slides into .tif
files, and then used ImageMagick to convert them to jpg.
Where unknown, the dates listed are based upon the markings on
the slides as date of processing.
The slided prior to 1985 were all taken with a Kodak 35 Rangefinder
camera: 50mm 1:3.5 lens, minimum focal range 4 feet, shutter speeds:
T,B,10,25,50,100,200.

This was basically the first long vacation (as in more than a day or two)
I took after getting into the computer industry. I had a bit of a craving
for mountain scenery, so decided to head to Colorado and play sightseer.
Lots of scenic locations on this trip. Roughly, the schedule was
Fly in to Denver airport, stay in Longmont
Quick visit to NCAR, Boulder, Co.
Visit Karen & Steve in Fort Collins. Visit Estes Park area
Up into Rocky Mt. National Park, over to Lake Granby, then over to
Dillon Resevoir area
Drive to Grand Junction, visit Colorado National Monument
(but I'm not sure which slides
are from there, or if I lost them)
I-70 to UT-128 at Cisco, Ut to Moab. Night-time Colorado River
trip in Moab
Arches National Monument, stayed in Moab again
From Moab, to Cortez, Co and Mesa Verde. Stayed in Pagosa Springs
